Visit charming Heidelberg which has inspired many song writers and poets. Stop by at one of Europe’s most elegant spa resorts of Baden-Baden and enjoy the fabled Black Forest and Schaffhausen in Switzerland and see the impressive Rhine River Falls. Travel with our bus from Bavaria’s capital Munich through the Alpine country and visit Fairytale Castle Neuschwanstein, Oberammergau, wellknown for its wood-carvings and performance every ten years of the Passion Play. Don`t miss the lovely "Church in the Meadow” and travel to Salzburg in Austria and have included the delight "Sound of Music Country” !

Day 1- Arrive at Berlin

A warm welcome awaits you upon arrival Munich airport, followed by a bus-transfer to your hotel. (D/OV)

Day 2 - Berlin and Potsdam

This morning starts with a city bus-tour of Berlin, passing historic "Alexanderplatz” with a bus-drive to Checkpoint Charly, up to 1989 the most infamous crossing point between Brandenburg Gate, symbol of the former division and today most vivid symbol of German reunification. - You will visit the imposing "Reichstag” that houses the German Parliament today. From here you pass the zoo of "Tiergarten” and soon arrive glorious boulevard "Kurfürstendamm” with its ruined Emperor Church, that is kept as a reminder of the destruction in World War II. Take your time for a lunch break before you continue with our bustour to outstanding Sanssouci Palace in Potsdam, displaying a splendid collection of treasures and art. - In the evening, you return to our hotel for dinner and overnight. Day 3 - Bustour Berlin - Hanover

After breakfast you leave Berlin and travel on the "autobahn” westwards, passing Magdeburg, dominated by its 13th century Gothic Cathedral and on to Hanover. Hanover is well known for its annual International Fair. Upon hotel check-in the city bus-tour will start with Hanovers splendid Town Hall and its domed tower. The "Marktplatz” with its neo-Gothic market fountain still preserves an old atmosphere. Half-timbered buildings like the famous "Ballhof” are some of Hanover´s finest. - Take some time to visit also the city’s magnificent Herrenhausen Gardens, an impressive English-style garden and "Berggarten”, a botanical place with a display of cactuses and orchids. - Later you return to your hotel for freshen up and for dinner. Day 4 - Hanover - Kassel - Offenbach

Today’s bus-charter-route takes you south to Kassel, home of the Brothers Grimm and delightfully situated in a basin of the Fulda river valley. An orientation drive will guide you along the city’s imposing Town Hall and goes straight to Castle Wilhelmshoehe, where Napoleon III was lodged after his capture at the battle of Sedan in 1871. - After a break your bus-tour continues on the "autobahn” to Offenbach, near Frankfurt. Offenbach is noted as the center of the German leather industry and hosts an International Leather Goods Fair every year. It is also known for its "Kaiser-Friedrich-Quelle”, a soda water spring with the highest alkaline content in Germany. In the evening you will arrive at your hotel for dinner and overnight. Day 5- Rhine River Cruise and Moselle River Valey

A most beautiful tour is waiting today as your charter-bus takes you to Germany’s heart of wine country. At first you will explore picturesque Ruedesheim and its alley "Drosselgasse” lined with a number of inviting wine-bars. You will attend a wine tasting to enjoy some local vintages. After that you do a leisurely Rhine cruise passing castles crowning hills, beautiful medieval towns and the legendary Loreley Rock where mermaids are said to have lured sailors to their death. You leave the boat at St. Goarshausen and continue with our excursion by bus to Coblence to admire its commanding Citadel Ehrenbreitstein. Then you enter the enchanting Moselle Valley before you drive to Cochem. Enjoy this wine town, over which looms a fortress with turrets and pinnacles, remains of the Castle Reichsburg and rebuilt about 130 years ago. Participate in another local wine tasting before our charter-bus winds along through beautiful valleys and a land of castles and vineyards. - Return to Offenbach in the afternoon for dinner and overnight. Day 6 - Bustour Offenbach - Romantic Road - Heilbronn

This morning you leave Offenbach and head over to Wuerzburg, a former seat of the prince-bishops and its landmark "Residenz”, Germany’s biggest Baroque palace. Soon after you drive on the Romantic Road and stop at walled town Rothenburg with its almost untouched towers, gates and fountains since the 16th and 17th Century. A walking tour will lead you to Rothenburgs old Town Hall of Renaissance and Gothic style, to the St. James Church with its beautiful altar, a masterpiece by wood-carver Tilman Riemenschneider and to the medieval "Baumeisterhaus”, a restaurant from 1596. -Take some free time to rest, browse or shop around before you travel on the Romantic Road to Dinkelsbuehl, still surrounded by medieval ramparts and watch-towers since the 15th Century. The old market place, half timbered burgher houses and St. George’s Church of the year 1450 are among the most photographed sights in Dinkelsbuehl. - In the evening you will arrive at your hotel in Heilbronn for dinner. Day 7 - Bus Charter Tour Heilbronn - Heidelberg - Baden Baden

After breakfast you leave the city of Heilbronn and journey through the Neckar River Valley. During the 12th century, women in the surrendered Wartberg Castle were told by the outside enemy that they could leave but only take what they could carry, here at Weinsberg. Finally, the women came out carrying their husbands on their back! Later on you arrive at Heidelberg, the jewel of the Neckar river, dominated by many ruined castles from the 16th century. The city bustour will show Germany´s oldest university, the market place and a Renaissance style knight mansion, built in 1592. Drive up the castle hill to visit the museum displaying a highlight of a great Wine Vat holding a capacity of approx. 50.000 gallons. - Take some free time to enjoy from the castle terrace splendid views overlooking the blue river and the old town. - Later your bustour leads further south passing Karlsruhe, the seat of Germany´s Federal High Court. Then you arrive at Baden-Baden, one of Europe´s most luxurious spa resorts. An orientation drive and an walking city tour includes the world- famous Casino and "Kurgarten" which has been visited by famous peaple like the King of Prussia, Napoleon III, Bismarck and Queen Victoria. Day 8 Baden Baden - Black Forest - Freiburg/Glottertal Coach Hire Tour

Today you start with a scenic charterbu-sdrive through the valleys of the Black Forest by way of one of the most popular summer and winter sports resorts Freudenstadt, on to Titisee, situated right next to a picturesque lake of natural beauty. Here you can shop unique cuckoo-clocks or just wander around. Later you arrive Freiburg, an old university city, and see its landmark "Muenster". The "Munster" is one of Germany´s most impressive cathedrals of the 13th century. - Enjoy some free time here. Then bustransfer to your hotel in the Glottertal Valley, located in the charming Black Forest region. (B & D/ OV)

Day 9 - Bus-Charter-Tour Black Forest - Rhine River Falls - Munich

Today your bustour will take you first into Switzerland to Schaffhausen to see the Rhine River Falls, the most powerful river falls in Europe which Wolfgang von Goethe described as the "Source of the Ocean"! Then our route leads back to Germany with a next stop at Donaueschingen and its beautiful castle park to admire a magnificent fountain, known as the Danube-Source. - Later you are heading east to travel along Lake Constance, the so called "Three Country Lake", because it shares its fertile shores with Switzerland, Germany and Austria. Day 10 - Munich Bus Tour

Today´s beautiful drive takes us on a city tour of Munich´s old center and stop at "Marienplatz" to see its famous "Glockenspiel" and Mnuichs great City Hall. You see the city´s landmark the Curch of our Lady, built around 1465 and visit the infamous "Hofbraeuhaus". Stop over at the Olympic Park and visit the Olympic Stadium which is covered by an outstanding tent roof construction. Close by the Nymphenburg Palace amidst a flower-filled park area. Here you will visit the Royal Horse Carriage Museum with a huge collection of coaches, sedan-chairs, the coronation coach of Emperor Karl VII and impressive sledges used by eccentric King Ludwid II. Take some photos or postcards with you return to the city center to explore or shop or head back to the hotel. Spend the rest of the day as you like (B & D/OV)

Day 11 - Bus-Charter Tour to Castle Neuschwanstein - Oberammergau - Church in the Meadow

You start your day with a tour right into the magnificent Bavarian Alps with our first stop at Hohenschwangau where you visit King Ludwig´s fairytale Castle Neuschwanstein. A private horse carriage will take you up the hill almost to its entrance of the castle and you take an inside tour of a number of apartments and rooms like King Ludwig´s magnificent bed room of fine wood-carvings, others of Byzantine and Romanesque sanctuary, an artificial grotto, the Singers Hall with unique candelabra and chandeliers. Other rooms reflecting themes of Richard Wagner´s operas like Lohengrin and Tannhaeuser. - Back outside from the "Marienbruecke" which spans a deep gorge, you have a greet view of the Upper Bavarian mountains with its lakes. - From here your bustour continues to Oberammergau, home of the world-famous Passion Plays. Visit the Passion Theatre with a seating for about 5.000 spectators and see its beautiful painted burgher houses and wood-carving shops. Then you leave to visit another highlight. You stop at the Church in the Meadows to see its interior of marvelous wood-carvings, frescos, stuccoes and most colorful paintings of the 18th century. - With impressions of these beautiful sights you will return to Munich to your hotel for dinner and another overnight. Day 12 - Salzburg Bus Tour and "Sound of Music Country"

A great Austrian sightseeing tour is waiting today as your charter-bus takes you first along Bavaria´s largest lake "Chiemsee" and over to Austria. Soon you arrive Salzburg which is dominated by its 11th century fortress "Hohensalzburg", truly one of Austria´s and Europe´s most loved cities. An city bustour will pass the Horse Trough, used for the archbishop´s stables about 300 years ago and Festival buildings, the bustour will lead to Mirabell Gardens with a stop to view remains of a luxurious mansion dating from the 17th century. Go on an easy walk through the old center of Salzburg where you enjoy the lively and picturesque pedestrian zone of "Getreidegasse" and Mozart´s birthplace on house number 9. Explore the "Domplatz" with its great Cathedral of 1655 and "Residenz" of the former archbishops and where Emperors Franz-Josef, Napoleon III and Wilhelm I met in 1871 after the battle of Sedan. Spend some time to do as you like before you continue with you bustour to Austria´s most lovely "Salzkammergut" and beautiful Mondsee lake district. There you will be visiting its former Abbey built in a Baroque style and since 1740 a Parish church used for the wedding scene when making the famous film "The Sound of Music"! Return to Munich in time for freshen up at your hotel. - Tonight you visit one of Munich´s famous restaurants for a very special dinner and local folklore music entertainment. Day 13 - Last day of the Tour
